Test the programming cable and port
Plug a known data-capable cable into PROG and directly into the computer. A cable that supplies power may still lack data wiring. If Gtuner IV shows no device, try a second data cable and a different computer USB port one at a time. Disconnect additional peripherals during this test so you can tell which change produced a different result.
The Titan Two product guide distinguishes PROG from OUTPUT. A console may recognize the device through OUTPUT while the computer still has no programming connection. Verify the port labels before treating one working connection as proof that the other is working.
Separate app startup from USB detection
If Gtuner IV closes or never opens, unplug the device and try opening the app on its own. On Windows, confirm that the official archive was fully extracted and the executable is running from that extracted folder. Check the manufacturer release notes for your installed build and compare the failure against the version and operating system you actually use.
If the application stays open but a second cable and direct USB port still produce no detection, record the device’s visible indicators and whether the computer notices anything when you reconnect. That gives a support request more useful context than a description of the final console symptom.
When detection works but a controller does not
Open Device Monitor after Gtuner IV recognizes Titan Two. Reconnect one controller and check whether its input changes when you press a button. If the device appears but controller inputs do not, switch to the input connection and controller compatibility checks. The programming connection has already passed its separate test.
