Titan Two racing wheel and pedal compatibility

A racing wheel can report steering, pedals and buttons correctly while a game still treats the output as a controller. Evaluate the complete wheelbase, pedal and console setup before assuming that the game will offer its native wheel options.

Separate detection from game features

ConsoleTuner lists HID wheels as possible inputs, and its release notes describe model-specific handling for some Logitech wheels. The result depends on the wheel’s USB mode and the protocol selected for the gaming system. Identify whether the wheel needs its own power supply and whether pedals connect through the base or to USB separately.

Check whether you need native wheel recognition, independent pedals, force feedback, a shifter or an auxiliary handbrake. Treat each as a separate compatibility question. Seeing a steering axis in a monitor does not establish that the game can send force feedback back to the wheel.

Test one axis at a time

With the wheel calibrated according to its manual, use Gtuner IV Device Monitor to check the center, both steering endpoints, each pedal and every button. See whether throttle and brake have separate axes. Simultaneous pedal presses help identify combined axes that look correct when tested individually.

Then open a practice session in the game. Check the in-game steering range and camera behavior without changing multiple settings together. If the game offers only controller settings through the adapter and native force feedback is essential, verify the wheel directly on a supported platform before buying additional hardware.

Check that calibration survives a restart

After the initial test, restart the wheel and the game. Verify that the USB mode, steering center and pedal assignments match your first run. Keep the wheel firmware version and the console’s reported controller type in your notes. That record gives you a way to compare behavior after an update.
