TITAN TWO

Hardware and setup

Titan Two as a USB controller on PC

A computer can program the Titan Two or receive its controller output. Those roles use different ports and can coexist on the same machine.

Choose how the PC should see the adapter

The Titan Two computer setup guide uses USB Xbox 360 output as a conventional gamepad baseline and recommends the protocol defaults for polling. The appropriate choice depends on what the application expects. Multi HID is a different output mode for applications that expect keyboard, mouse or joystick interfaces rather than an Xbox-style controller.

Check support for that input mode in the actual application. The operating system recognizing an interface does not guarantee that a specific game accepts it. Start with the game’s normal default controller behavior before adding remaps or input translation.

Connect both roles correctly

For controller output, attach a compatible controller to the front input and run a data cable from OUTPUT to the computer. If you are configuring or monitoring the device at the same time, connect PROG to another USB port on the computer. Gtuner IV’s connection alone does not make the computer see a game controller.

Use a system controller test or a game’s input screen. Keep the adapter in its inactive profile and temporarily disconnect other gamepads if the application chooses the wrong one. Compare the result with Device Monitor to see whether buttons reach the adapter and whether the expected output changes.

Isolate duplicate or missing inputs

A directly paired controller and the same controller routed through Titan Two can be different devices from the application’s perspective. Test a single path. If the program still sees nothing, check the operating-system interface, the selected output protocol and the application’s controller setting in that order.
