TITAN TWO

Hardware and setup

Titan Two on PS4 with a wired DualShock 4

A straightforward PS4 setup uses a compatible wired controller for authentication and a separate data cable from Titan Two to the console. Test the original controls first so an active profile does not disguise a USB problem.

Enable wired controller communication

The ConsoleTuner quick guide points to Settings, Devices, Controllers on PS4 for the communication method. Choose Use USB Cable where the controller supports the setting. In Gtuner IV, the detailed PS4 guide describes USB Automatic or USB PlayStation 4 as the output options for this wiring.

When diagnosing a setup that already uses a compatible DualShock 4, test that controller on the console directly with the same data cable. If it is charging while staying connected by Bluetooth, that test has not yet established a wired data link.

Build the USB chain

Put the compatible PS4 authentication controller on INPUT-B. Connect the Titan Two OUTPUT port to a console USB port with the supplied micro-USB data cable. If you are using another compatible controller for input, attach it to INPUT-A after verifying the baseline. Test with the authentication controller still attached, since the PS4 device guide describes full-time authentication.

If input stops after a repeatable interval, inspect the authentication side and the console communication setting before tuning a game profile. A different behavior when the adapter stays in slot 0 can help distinguish a configuration issue from the connection itself.

Check audio and motion separately

The PS4 guide lists controller speaker and headset support with a DualShock 4 V2. Test sound output and microphone input independently after buttons are responding. Some controller features depend on the exact controller and connection mode, even if basic input already works.
