Titan Two on Xbox Series X and S: wired setup

Xbox Series X and Series S are listed in ConsoleTuner’s Titan Two compatibility notes. A wired original Series controller provides the simplest starting point for checking console recognition.

Confirm firmware and cable types

ConsoleTuner’s version history records the addition of Series console support, along with the Series controller driver and share button. Check the installed Titan Two firmware before relying on those features. For the console side, Titan Two uses its rear micro-USB OUTPUT port. For the controller side, match the cable to the controller’s actual socket. An original Series controller uses USB-C, even though older Xbox One controllers often use micro-USB.

Use USB data cables on both sides of the adapter. A charging light or a controller that remains powered by batteries is not a test of USB authentication. A direct test with the controller and console is useful if you are unsure whether the cable carries data.

Start with a wired official controller

The linked console setup guide specifies USB Automatic or USB Xbox Series X|S for output and an official Xbox Series controller on INPUT-B for authentication. Connect OUTPUT to the console. Verify the setup with that controller present before adding an alternate controller to INPUT-A.

Diagnose one change at a time

If the console does not see an input, return to the original controller alone and observe the INPUT-B and OUTPUT lights. Check that both cables are attached to the intended ports and leave the optional profile inactive. Wireless input, chat audio and third-party controller variants introduce separate compatibility questions. Test each only after the basic wired inputs have been stable.
