Initialize the receiver files
Insert a supported microSD card, connect the PROG port to the computer and open Device Configuration in Gtuner IV. Run the card’s Configure action. ConsoleTuner’s release notes identify receiver initialization files that this action writes. If you replace the card or copy files to a newly formatted card, check that it has been configured for the Titan Two again.
Check both the receiver model and the controller revision in the setup guide. ConsoleTuner has made firmware changes for several Xbox Wireless Adapter revisions and controllers, so an old pairing guide may describe a procedure that is no longer applicable.
Pair by cable before testing wireless
The firmware notes and setup guide describe USB cable pairing. Attach the controller to an input with the correct data cable for that controller and let it initialize. Then remove the cable, connect the Xbox Wireless Adapter to a front input and watch its port light. If the receiver never initializes, start with the card files and the port before diagnosing controller pairing.
Once the receiver is active, turn on the controller and check input in Device Monitor or the destination menu. Keep the console’s own authentication requirement separate from the receiver test.
Check stability against a wired baseline
The linked setup guide describes receiver support as experimental and notes that some combinations may disconnect. If wireless input is intermittent, keep the console output and controller profile constant, then test the same controller over USB. That comparison is more informative than changing output protocol and wireless settings together.
